I can’t process what happened in Texas yesterday… what continues to happen in our country.

How many innocent lives will it take for this to change? Not “thoughts & prayers” but REAL CHANGE.

I feel angry, heartsick, and scared. And so weary.

This will keep happening as long as lawmakers prioritize power and greed over human lives. I am tired of living in a nation where I have to lie to my daughter and assure her of safety that I truly can’t promise.

What can I control? Donating to organizations that fight for what is right and voting where it counts. I urge you all to do the same.
